Couchsurfing
I am so bored lately I found myself debating the merits of couch-surfing in my own town. That way I could create my own back story and change my name and meet people all the time. Sadly I loathe most people, or I like to think so, or I just can’t communicate with most people. It kind of makes me want to pack up catch a bus and pretend to be someone I’m not and hang out with someone I don’t know. At least that way if I knock someone up or give them vd, again, they won’t be able to chew me out. I hope they have cooler video games than I do.

Still digging around youtube for music, I liked this song, the intro almost scared me off but it fits really nicely as a whole.
Once Again it is form Zero 7 and it is called swing.

This is a new band my friend Lucy showed me today I thought I’d put it up here for my own records sake.
The Band is Called Zero 7 and this song is called Pop Art Blue.

This is something new I thought was cool at 4am, I’m still not sure if I like it but it is worth a listen. This is from a band from Paris called Alcest that plays a melodic kind of rock music that was fairly enjoyable.

This was one of the first posts I ever put here on tumblr but the release of the broken bells album has already happened, and I do like it. This song is called vaporize and not surprisingly Brian Burton (Dangermouse) and James Mercer do not disappoint. It is definitely a nice sound for the summer.

Another great video this time from Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. This band has been around for around ten years but just really caught my attention over the last year sadly. It is definitely worth digging around their work as their is a lot of it and their newest album “The Brutalist Bricks,” just came out last month.
To all my friends who haven’t heard this yet, and those who have, enjoy.

Party Party Party
So I had people over last night and one of my neighbours with nothing better to do who sits on the board for the condo association decided to come down and ruin the party, lame. I didn’t really mind that badly though as my roommate had to work so it made me get people out earlier. I think herding cattle is easier than herding drunk people, people take longer to get the point no matter how direct you are when you ask them to leave. I guess I must be getting old or something because a cute girl was there and I thought she was hitting on me and all I was thinking was “how can I get this drunk girl out of my house.”
I’m moving into a new place so I hope this all goes alright with the current landlords. I really don’t want to piss them off after living somewhere for four years without incident.
